## Will my employer accept this?

Here's the straight answer most sites bury in the fine print:

**Usually yes:** personal trainers (NASM accepts online CPR), babysitters and nannies, coaches, gig work, office first-aiders, and anyone renewing a lapsed card or learning for their family.

**No — and we'll tell you now:** hospitals, EMS, and childcare licensing generally require hands-on training. If that's you, book an in-person course instead — this isn't it.

## Questions, answered straight

**Is this really free until I pass?**

Yes. The course and the test cost nothing, with unlimited retries. You only pay when you pass and want your certificate: $12.95 for CPR & AED or First Aid, $14.95 for both, and the price is on every course before you start.

**Are you affiliated with the American Heart Association or Red Cross?**

No. Our course is based on the 2025 AHA/ECC and ILCOR guidelines, but we're an independent provider and our certificate carries our own name. Anyone telling you otherwise about a fully-online course isn't being straight with you.

**How long is the certificate valid?**

Two years for CPR, first aid and BLS, and one year for Bloodborne Pathogens. The date is printed on your certificate.

**What do I actually get?**

A PDF certificate the moment you pass, emailed to you and always downloadable from your account. It has a QR code and an ID your employer can check on our verification page.

**What if I fail the test?**

Take it again, as often as you need, free. Questions you've already answered correctly stay answered, so you only redo the ones you missed.
