About this course

Learn to recognise cardiac arrest, call for help, give high-quality CPR to an adult, a child or an infant, use an automated external defibrillator, and clear a blocked airway. Seven short modules, then a 12-question test. This is an online-only course: it doesn't meet WSIB's workplace first aid training requirements in Ontario, and other provinces' workplace rules may also require an in-person course.

Who it's for: Parents, carers, coaches, volunteers and anyone who wants to be ready to help or refresh their skills.

Will my employer accept this?

It depends on your employer or licensing body, so check with them before you rely on it. This is an online course: it doesn't include a hands-on skills assessment, and some workplaces and boards require one. The certificate records that you completed the course and passed its test. It isn't a licence or an accreditation.
