About this course
Learn to recognise cardiac arrest, call 111, give high-quality CPR to an adult, a child or a baby, use a defibrillator (AED), and help someone who is choking. Seven short modules, then a 12-question test. This is an online-only course with no practical assessment: it doesn't meet workplace first aid training requirements that call for an assessed practical course, such as training assessed against the NZQA first aid standards.
Who it's for: Parents, carers, coaches, volunteers and anyone who wants to be ready to help or refresh their skills.

Will my employer accept this?
Ask your employer which course and training provider they require before you buy. The certificate of completion records that you completed the online learning and passed a knowledge test; it doesn't show practical CPR or first aid skills, and it isn't a licence or an accreditation.
This online-only course has no practical assessment, so it doesn't meet workplace first aid training requirements that call for an assessed practical course, such as training assessed against the NZQA first aid standards. For workplace first aid, healthcare training or a professional registration, check the requirements for your role: you may need a course with an in-person practical assessment.
